An anomaly is not a species. An anomaly is what cannot be classified. It is the strange, the unknown. The unacceptable. They are specifically not species that classify as species as we know it.

Physical Description

An anomaly is characterized by some highly divergent characteristic, or many. They are not simply odd Feni, or strange humans with odd abilities.

Heritages

Anomalies do not have a firm set of anything, let alone heritages, but there are some classifications among them that are notable.

• Remnant of Something On rare occasions, a remnant of some ancient civilization's works are found. A strange weapon still alive of time past, a biological mystery in a containment field. A highly evolved hyper-parasite.
• The Energetic Being There is at least one story, if apocryphal of the Alganna Eternity encountering a being made up of pure energy during their travels. A species without form that seemed dismissive completely of the physical beings they encountered.
• Extra-Dimensional Beings There have been apocryphal encounters with what could be classified as a being non from the dimensions existence comes from. Rumors say there are hidden beings in Underspace or other 'Other spaces'. This information is rarely taken seriously.

History

A history of beings not understood, or perhaps not real is difficult to explain, what is known is they do not fall into the current historical framework.

Society

There is no known united society for any of the abnormal beings, but if they exist, you can assume they have their own social framework.

Beliefs

There is no known belief system for broad anomalies. One may assume they have their own philosophies.

Style Guide

Anomalies are a application-only 'species' representing something beyond the norm. Not a normal species, but bizarre things that are beyond the known framework. This template is primarily for usage by storytellers but it is possible to see non-storyteller anomaly characters.
