Overview

Stemming from the Gadiimkimi Dark Region at the borders of Directorate space, the Alganna have recently emerged as a notable threat onto the galactic stage, having conquered and integrated multiple subject peoples. From humans to the Varrk crustaceanoids. Born of the same seemingly doomed homeworld of Alba, they are ancient sister-peoples to the Clan Kimmigani of the Directorate and hold claim to the entire dark region, similarly claimed by the Directorate. They themselves are evaluated to be far from unified, with multiple warlords within the Imperium acting with relative independence.

Current Relations

Officially we are cordial and neutral with the despots. The council has evaluated them as primitive people with little discipline and a rough mockery of the wisdom of Kemz. The overarching position of our Celleni allies is that they are a potential threat that is best negotiated peacefully via compromise. They claim war is to be avoided and trade opportunities exist. They are in near constant negotiations and the Families have determined to let others handle the unpredictable beings.

Technology

The Kimovihni have peculiar technology born of numerous tech-bases of their many client peoples with little consistency between their different warlords and client species. They seem to prefer energy based weaponry and boarding-tactics. Civilian technologies are little understood, though their nobles tend to keep personal energy barriers on their person for interpersonal conflict, indicating they may have developed a form of hardlight.
