Overview

The VH are a near-anarchy of disorder and chaos with complex election systems and an obsession with independence, free-thinking, democracy and disunity. They have managed to maintain independence and resist integration into the Galactic Coalition. They first encountered the Directorate and in terror, began to unify into a more coherent government. A wise choice as soon they would encounter the imperialistic humans. Today they are a more reserved reflection of the Coalition, small but less prone to ego and expansion.

Current Relations

The Directorate has no negative relationship with the Vesreen and has maintained positive relations since first contact. They are considered and classified as an allied power and despite cooling relations with the GCIS, there have been no such calls for the Vesreen. However, the council of families considers them dangerous agents of chaos and cautions the rest of the Directorate to trust disorderly anarchists.

Technology

The Vesreen have primarily local modifications of Directorate and Coalition export-grade equipment as far as modern ships are concerned, yet their true technological feats involve weather-manipulation, terraforming technologies and defensive assets. The Vesreen live in fear of their independence being taken and have fortified nearly all of their worlds with weaponry.
